SIfu David is an instructor with our organization and has been a student of Richard Chow since 1987. Students can always count on David to have a story about the members of our organization.
Background
David began his Martial Arts training in Goju Ryu Karate in the mid-1980’s. In 1987 David met Sifu Richard Chow and began his formal Kung Fu training in the arts of Choy Li Fut and Lama Pai. David added the Fut Gar Kung Fu style to his training in 1996. He attained the rank of Sifu (Instructor) in 1994 under the training of Richard Chow. He is the former instructor of the Brock University Kung Fu Club.
Accomplishments
During the late 1980’s David was an avid competitive martial artist securing more than 25 tournament awards including CanAm, CCKSF and international invitational tournaments, gaining the nickname of “Red Baron” within the school. David was a member of the 1993 Canadian Universities and Colleges championship winning team.
